Alm

Our alpine hut is located above our farm at an elevation
of 1200 m above sea level, heading in the direction of
Eben,  N 47° 24.28    E 13° 24.45
It is easy to reach by car, yet still quite remote and in a
very peaceful setting.

You will be able to enjoy magnificent views of the Flachau
Valley, Wagrain and St. Johann, Fritztal and the Hochkönig.
500 meters further up is the Ober-Buchsteinalm,
which is staffed and serves the general public (including
fresh milk).
One kilometer prior to our hut is the Reitlehenalm, a
traditional mountain inn.

Join the farmer as he visits the hut to check on the cows
and calves.  Afterwards, fish for trout in a small tarn at the
Reitlehenalm - freshly prepared, you've never tasted
anything better.  And experience a mountain sunset, always
a memorable experience in its own right ...
